European Convention on Nationality
of 6 November 1997 (Entry into force: 1 March 2000)
The Convention contains regulations concerning nationality. It demands inter alia easier and fair naturalisation procedures.
So far, 18 member states have ratified the Convention (as of 31 October 2008, current status )
