Activities by non governmental organisations
The Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded by a Swiss banker and lawyer in 1977. Its primary objective is to prevent torture and other forms of ill-treatment, not only in Switzerland but also throughout the world.
