Switzerland, like the other industrialised western countries, doesn't seem to intent signing and ratifying the Convention somewhere soon. On 18 December 2003, the Swiss Coalition for the ratification of the ICRMW was founded in Bern by a number of workers' unions, illegal workers' committee and human rights organisations.
