This plan was established in June 1999 by a inter-departmental work group after the Beijing 4th Wold Women’s Conference (1995) in order to implement the measures discussed. The text exists in French and German only (pdf, 134 pp). In November 2002, 30 NGO prepared an evaluation report on the implementation of this plan of action (in German only, pdf, 68 pp). The same year, the Federal Council also puiblished a similar report. The implementation is little contested.
