The Swiss Helen Keller elected at the Human Rights Committee
The Swiss international public law professor, Helen Keller, was elected at the UN Human Rights Committee on 28 July 2008. Keller, 44, suceeds to Professor Walter Kälin, who ended his mandate on 8 April 2008. Her mandate as independant expert of the Human Rights Committee will last until 31 December 2010. Prof. Keller teaches European law and international public law at the University of Zurich.
