The Master of Advanced Studies in Children’s Rights (MCR) is an interdisciplinary postgraduate programme that is offered by the Centre for Children’s Rights Studies of the University of Geneva.
The programme is held over a two-year period and will take place from February 2021 to November 2022. The curriculum is structured around seven teaching modules that, through lectures, workshops, seminars and roundtable sessions provide a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of children’s rights.
The focus is on current and emerging issues like migration, child labour, education, criminal justice, child protection strategies, and much more.
Moreover, students can benefit from an international and multicultural student body with a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, qualifications and motivations.

Target audience: The MCR is designed for professionals who work with children’s rights, these may include: lawyers, psychologists, sociologists, judges, social workers, government officials, staff from non-governmental organisations, academics and journalists.
